At age 15, I became completely hooked on shooting and knew that it would always be a part of my life from there on. My Dad introduced me to the basics of handguns in the fall of 2008 at a local indoor range and then took me to Rogers Shooting School and Universal Shooting Academy for some serious training, so that my fundamental skills would be very strong. As soon as I was comfortable with the safe and proper handling of these firearms, I started to learn how to compete with a pistol on the move. Having fallen in love with both the practical as well as the sporting aspects of competition, I now enjoy shooting 3-GUN, IDPA, USPSA and Steel Challenge matches. There are so many other great and fun events (like Bianchi) that it’s really hard to make the time to shoot them all. I am so happy to participate in such a great activity that not only builds lifelong skills, but helps support our 2nd Amendment rights as citizens in a very positive and responsible manner.
